Warning thunderstorm and rain coming.
The Thai Meteorological Department have issued several warning for the region of Chonburi/ Pattaya and also for all the East of Thailand. From 3-5 June there will be a risk for heavy rain due to a tropical depression located over Vietnam.
Here is the original advisory.
| At 01.00 p.m. LST on 3 June, this tropical depression over the middle South China Sea, due 350 km. southeast of Da Nang, Vietnam, or latitude 14.5 °N, longitude 111.0 °E. with maximum sustained wind about 30 knots or 55 km/hr, the storm is moving north-northwestward about 8 knots or 15 km\\hr. This storm will develop to tropical storm and it will move to the Hainan Island, China during 5-7 June. For traveler to Vietnam and Hainan Island, China should check the weather before traveling. This storm has no direct impact on Thailand. Travelers should stay tuned for the weather update. During 4-7 June, southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand will strange cause Thailand is more rain and isolated heavy. People should beware of heavy rain. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf will be stronger with about 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers areas. All ships should proceed with cautions.
