Btw I just realized that this year their week is 6 days long. This also can explain the results. Next year try 5 days a week for even better statistics. Amazing Thailand.

As we all know , the fatality statistics are based on the victims dying at the accident scene. If you dare to die away from the scene , or down the track eg : “later on”, then you won’t be counted as a road fatality.

You gotta love the way they present the Road Safety Statistics , so that the 2018 year doesn’t become another record breaking year , this year we have decided to reduce the ” 7 most deadly days ” to 6 days , therefore 2018 has seen a 2.6% reduction in road fatalities .

Everyday, the ratio accidents/deaths is roughly about 10.
But what happened december 1 2017? The numbers must have been about 450/87, that is about 5. How can this be?
